A flower says one thousands words!
What is your favorite flower to give as a gift? Flowers come in all shapes and sizes and many different colors. I find that we usually have a favorite flower that we give or send to a person.
Today, with the internet making it easy to order and send flowers as a gift, we do not need to visit the local flower shop. Instead we look at pictures and click. We get to pick exactly what it is we want delivered knowing the person on the other end will receive close to what we have clicked on. I find that very satisfying.
When choosing a flower to send it is sometimes important to know what the flowers and colors represents. For instance a red rose means love, while a yellow is friendship, while a dark pink says thank you and a light pink states admiration. A white one means innocence.
Carnations is also a popular flower. Red represents admiration, pink a woman’s love and white innocence while another general carnation will mean devoted love. Yes the flowers you choose and the colors which go with them can say many things. Bluebells say everlasting love, tulips you have beautiful eyes, zinna lasting affection and the peony means happy marriage and prosperity.
The next time you are purchasing a flower to give to someone think of the symbol you are actually giving. You will want your gift to convey exactly what you want.
