Celebrate Your Anniversary!
An anniversary happens any day of the year. The wonderful aspect about an anniversary is that it gives you the opportunity to celebrate and give gifts. I have friends who celebrate the day of their meeting, the day they graduated college and of course their weddings.
Wedding anniversaries are the most common anniversary celebrated. Usually this is done with a special dinner, gift and even sometimes like 25th, 40th and 50th up with larger family and friends invited to a party or gathering.
With the common place of divorce, first, fifth and tenth anniversaries have become also major anniversary celebrations. People want to celebrate these smaller years with as much enthusiasm as possible. Every year together means a victory. You have beat the odds.
When it comes to your own anniversary with your loved one. How do you go about planning it? Do you have a special dinner, special gift time to exchange the gifts bought, or do you just let the day go by uncelebrated?
Each year you are together is a victory of communication and planning, of goals created. Of watching children, if there are any, grow and enjoying their victories in life. Yes your anniversary is important, therefore, celebrate it, make it special and enjoy as that day will not pass again. There will be new days, new anniversaries, but not this one ever again.
